Health insurance plans for those age 65 and older

Once you reach the age of 65, understanding the Medicare system and market can be difficult. I’m sure you have received tons of mailings from countless insurance companies trying to explain different products. Confused yet?

Health-Wise Partners will work with you to understand your particular situation and figure out the best Medicare plan for you. Whether you need a Medicare supplement, Advantage plan, or Part D prescription plan, we have access to dozens of carriers, meaning you can choose the plan that's right for you.

What is Open Enrollment?

The typical period of open enrollment, also called the annual enrollment period (AEP), is October 15th through the first week of December, approximately 7 weeks. Millions of Americans shop for and purchase Medicare products during this time. We encourage you to begin the process early to give yourself enough time to make the most informed decision.

Medicare Supplements

Because original Medicare coverage only covers 80% of your medical services, many people purchase supplemental insurance policies, called “Medicare Supplement”, that are specifically designed to cover some or all of the gaps. Health Wise Partners will use its system to input your information and quote dozens of carriers to find the best rate for you. Since all of the companies essentially cover the same services by law, it is our job to provide you with the Supplement you want at the best rate possible.

Medicare Advantage

Often referred to as Medicare Part C, a Medicare Advantage Plan is an additional health plan choice offered to those eligible for Original Medicare (Part A and Part B).

Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans

Medicare Part D, also called the “Medicare Drug Benefit”, is a federal program to subsidize the costs of prescription drugs for Medicare beneficiaries in the United States.
